Dakota's Page

Pegi Horne, Dakota's Mum. This is only Dakota's second day home with us. She is just 4 months old but took to the halter like a seasoned professional.

  Dakota comes to us from Sidetrack Acres Farm in Nanaimo when she was 4 months old and over the last year and a half her loving, friendly personality is shining through. She loves to play with Puppy and is learning quite a lot. She enjoys to meet new people and truly enjoys all of the attention. 

Dakota is finally old enough to  walk around downtown like Puppy and she is participating in Pet Visitations with the SPCA here in Nanaimo. She made her debut at Travelers Lodge on October 11th, 2006. Needless to say she was a huge success. Pet TV was there to cover the event and both The Nanaimo Daily News  and the Harbour City Star ran articles. Dakota and her Mum actually made the front page of the Harbour City Star..

 As you can see, Kota is getting big enough to help out with the Poo Picking chores - or at least she needs to put her two cents in.
