Puppy, Pepper and Dakota are just so cute - you can't help put want to pet them..Well, if you're severly allergic you may need the help of rubber gloves and a mask...!!! Oh, to what lengths some people will go. |

| On May 5th, 2007 Puppy and Dakota participated in the Nanaimo & District SPCA Pet Day. They had a great day visiting with kids and adults alike and they even took part in the fashion show. Puppy was dressed up as a Bumblebee and Dakota was pretty in pink as a Princess. | While Dakota was busy visiting with people Puppy stopped in to Breze Salon for a quick trim of his forelock (fancy word for bangs). | ||

When Puppy or Dakota need to go anywhere they travel in
their customized "Mini Van". Puppy just jumps right in but
Dakota uses a ladylike ramp - at least until her legs are strong enough to
jump in..
Puppy loves traveling in the van because it usually means he will be getting a Timbit from Tim Horton's. The girls at Tim Horton's just love the horses when they come through. |

| Puppy participated with the Nanaimo &
District SPCA in the Empire Days Parade this year. He represented the Pit
Ponies that were used in the Coal Mines of Nanaimo. The first SPCA in
Nanaimo came into being specifically to protect those ponies. We are very
proud to say that we won Best Equestrian Unit and Best Clean Up Unit. Way to go Puppy!! (Yes, that is Pegi and Sam dressed as Coal Miners!!) |
